Biosketch

Dr. Andie Hartanto Djohan began his medical education at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. After graduating in 2016, he embarked on a residency training program in Internal Medicine at the National University Hospital, Singapore. During this time, Dr. Djohan honed his skills and developed a keen interest in cardiovascular diseases.In recognition of his dedication and proficiency, Dr. Djohan was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2018. He also pursued Master's degree in Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore, which he successfully completed in 2019.

Dr. Djohan subsequently pursued specialist training at the National University Heart Centre Singapore which he successfully completed in April 2023. Throughout his journey, Dr. Djohan actively engaged in academic projects, and his research findings have been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Djohan has also presented his work at both local and international conferences.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Djohan displayed exceptional leadership skills during his residency, assuming the role of Chief Resident. In this capacity, he exemplified professionalism and empathy while ensuring the well-being of his colleagues. Dr. Djohan's dedication to patient care and the quality of medical services is unwavering, as he consistently strives to provide the highest standard of care to those under his responsibility.

Currently, Dr. Djohan serves as a valued member of the medical team at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, where he continues to deepen his expertise in Interventional Cardiology. His clinical and academic interests encompass various aspects of cardiovascular disease, including coronary artery disease, coronary microvascular disease, invasive coronary hemodynamics, and intracoronary imaging.

Looking ahead, Dr. Andie Hartanto Djohan envisions a future where he can make a lasting impact on the field of Cardiology. He aspires to further contribute to not only clinical care, but also medical research and innovation, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
