    1. Public Sector Transformation Awards 2026

      The Public Sector Transformation (PST) Awards is a Whole-of-Government platform that recognises public agencies and individuals for driving innovation, strengthening organisational practices, and improving the way we work.

      🏆 Workforce Transformation Award
      In recognition of NUH’s multi-year approach to transform the way we work. Through role design, capability building, staff well-being initiatives and leadership development, we have strengthened employee engagement, improved productivity and enhanced patient care – all towards contributing to a more resilient healthcare system for the future.

      🏅 Exemplary Leader Award
      Senior Principal Clinical Pharmacist Ng Kai Xin has been recognised for her leadership in driving meaningful improvements in care delivery and patient safety, while building strong and capable teams. Her work in transforming pharmacy processes and mentoring staff continues to make a positive impact across the organisation.

    2. National Healthcare Innovation & Productivity Medals 2026

      Congratulations to the NUH Main Building Pharmacy team on being awarded the Best Practice Medal in Automation, IT & Robotics Innovation at the National Healthcare Innovation & Productivity Medals 2026!
       
      The team's pioneering pharmacy centralisation project successfully integrated inpatient, emergency, and outpatient pharmacy services under one roof, supported by automation and smart technologies across all three areas.
       
      These innovations have enhanced medication safety, shortened outpatient prescription waiting times and discharge medication turnaround, improved workforce efficiency, and strengthened long-term workforce sustainability.
       
      This remarkable achievement was made possible through the strong support of leaders and the unwavering dedication of the team. Along the journey, the project also fostered stronger collaboration and camaraderie within the department of pharmacy.

    1. Opening of National University Centre of Genomic Medicine

      A centre at that helps bring genomics into everyday care. Our multi-disciplinary team brings together clinical and laboratory geneticists, specialty clinicians and dedicated genetic counsellors, all supported by our genomic laboratory, pathologists, and researchers.

      The National University Hospital (NUH) has launched the NUH Innovation Hub, a collaborative space designed to accelerate healthcare transformation through partnerships and AI-driven solutions, tackling head on the challenges presented by an ageing population, a shrinking workforce and rising healthcare costs.

      The Singapore Health Quality Service Awards honour outstanding healthcare professionals from across the healthcare sector who have delivered quality care and excellent patient experience.

      Congratulations to our 83 Silver, 39 Gold, and 27 Star awardees!

    3. Opening of National University Centre for Digestive Health (NUCD)

      Only centre in Singapore to put in place three AI-enabled systems to identify early gastrointestinal lesions more effectively and enable real-time cancer diagnosis of these lesions.

    1. Singapore Business Review (SBR) Management Excellence Awards 2025

      Kent Ridge Office of Innovation (KROI)
      - Team of the Year - Healthcare
      - Innovator of the Year - Healthcare

      Since its formation in 2024, KROI has transformed healthcare delivery through capability building, strategic partnerships and groundbreaking AI solutions like MedBot and ED Summarizer. The ED Summarizer alone saves up to 45 hours of documentation time daily for our Emergency Department doctors, freeing them to focus on what matters most - patient care.

      - Employee Engagement of the Year - Healthcare

      Established in 2024, this multidisciplinary team achieved remarkable cost containment of nearly $26 million in its inaugural year, while optimising workforce deployment and enhancing employee development.

    2. Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award 2025

      2nd runner-up

      Principal Enrolled Nurse Fatimah Abdul Rahman

      With over 30 years of experience as an ICU nurse at NUH, Principal Enrolled Nurse Fatimah Abdul Rahman has turned every challenge into an opportunity to grow and serve.

      From caring for patients while pregnant during the SARS outbreak to training colleagues on infection control during COVID-19, Fatimah has consistently demonstrated resilience and a positive attitude to provide the best care. 

      This year, she was awarded second runner-up for the Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award – a testament to her unwavering dedication to advancing nursing and patient care. Today, she continues to upskill and embrace new technologies through the enrolled nurses role redesign initiative.
