Biosketch

Dr Jeremy is a paediatrician with special interests in child neurology at the National University Hospital (NUH). He obtained his MBBS from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with various Dean's list awards and subsequently his Master of Medicine in Paediatrics with the Nestle Medal and Membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, United Kingdom.

Dr Jeremy obtained his specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine in 2014. He is also a fellow at the Academy of Medicine Singapore, a member of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) and International Child Neurology Association (ICNA) as well as the country representative of the Asian and Oceanian Child Neurology Association (AOCNA). He is a certified electrographer with the Asian Epilepsy Academy (ASEPA).

As part of his clinical work, he takes care of children with various neurological conditions. He has a keen interest in general child neurology, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and neuro-rehabilitation. He works closely with his team of allied health professionals who are passionate about developing the paediatric neuro-rehabilitation care in NUH and in Singapore, in order to improve the function and quality of life of children with special needs. Dr Jeremy and his allied health team received an Academic Medicine Development Award (AMDA) from the National University Health System (NUHS) for training in paediatric neuro-rehabilitation in various sites in Canada in 2017. 

An Assistant Professor with NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Dr Lin is the Programme Director (PD) for the National Post-graduate year 1 (PGY1) Programme at NUH, and enjoys teaching and guiding young doctors.

He also obtained his Master of Clinical Investigation from NUS, under the National Research Foundation-Ministry of Health Healthcare Research Scholarship in 2015 and has ongoing research studies including the Singapore Cerebral Palsy Registry, robotic-assisted therapies etc. He also leads a Ministry of Health-Health Services Development Program (MOH-HSDP) looking at Nursing- and Allied Health-led Paediatric care in the areas of subacute ward, adolescent health and chronic disease self-management.
Dr Jeremy also volunteers his time regularly with Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore as Board Director to benefit children with critical diseases.
