Tuberculous Effusion

Tuberculosis may sometimes causes fluid to enter the pleural cavity. Patients experience the typical symptoms of tuberculosis, typically along with breathlessness or chest discomfort.

This condition is treated with anti-tuberculous medications for at least six months.
