Dr Andrew Sng graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS in 2008. He obtained his Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) and was admitted into the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2013. He achieved Specialist Accreditation for Paediatric Medicine in 2017.
Dr Sng's special interest is Paediatric Endocrinology. His niche areas are growth and pubertal disorders, bone health, thyroid diseases and diabetes. He is also a keen researcher in the field of childhood obesity and the metabolic syndrome.
As part of his training, Dr Sng had several key leadership roles including that of Chief Resident in 2013 and Chief Registrar in 2016. Dr Sng also loves teaching medical students, doctors and nurses. He was awarded the NUHS Young Clinician Mentor Award in 2017.
