Dr Lim completed her undergraduate medical training at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She was then awarded the Masters of Medicine (Ophthalmology) in 2018 and inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Singapore) upon successful completion of her residency training in 2020. During her residency training years, she served as a Chief Resident from 2017 to 2019, was in the Resident’s sub-committee for National University Health System and was enrolled into the Singapore Chief Residency Progamme in 2018.
Her clinical passion centers around Oculoplastics and Orbit, as well as ongoing work with General Ophthalmology and Cataract, advocating for the Low Vision Community and Community Eye Health Programmes.
She has a special heart for education and was awarded the Junior Doctor Teaching Award in 2016 and 2017. She has also received the SSO Young Ophthalmologist Research Award in 2017. In addition, she was privileged to have been awarded the Young Eye Care Ambassador at the Eye and Vision Health Awards in 2019.
