Dr Tan is a Consultant in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at National University Hospital. She is also part of the Head & Neck Surgery service at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, under the NUHS cluster.
She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2013. Dr Tan completed her postgraduate residency in Otolaryngology in Singapore, and was accredited as a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology in 2021. She is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow), and has a Masters of Medicine in Otolaryngology (Singapore).
Dr Tan is trained in medical and surgical care for all general ear, nose, and throat conditions. She has a special interest in the field of head and neck oncology. This includes management of neck lumps, thyroid and salivary gland disorders, as well as nasopharyngeal, oral cavity, oropharynx and larynx cancers.
In addition to her clinical duties, Dr Tan is also actively engaged in undergraduate clinical education at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and postgraduate teaching in Otolaryngology.
