Dr Chua graduated from the NUS Medical School in 1985 and she underwent postgraduate training in O&G in the University Department of O&G, NUS. She obtained her MRCOG(UK) in 1991. She became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1991. She was awarded HMDP Fellowship in 1994 and received subspecialty training in Fetal Maternal Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, UK.
Her special interest is in the field of fetal maternal medicine, diabetic pregnancies, prenatal diagnosis, antenatal ultrasound and general gynaecology.
Currently she is a senior consultant at the National University Hospital and a clinical senior lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
