Dr Daniel Chor is an Emergency Medicine Specialist, having attained his specialist accreditation in 2017 after completing both the Master of Medicine (Emergency Medicine) as well as the Membership of the College of Emergency Medicine (UK) in 2014. He is the Informatics Director for the department and is a physician builder for the ASAP module in Epic.
Daniel is the departmental clinical lead for the Western STEMI Network and for acute stroke management. He is also part of the team that plans the mass casualty incident response for the department.
At the national level, Daniel is an assistant commander in the Ministry of Health Singapore's Disaster Site Medical Command and is also a member of the National ED-Palliative Workgroup.
Daniel is passionate about improving the care of patients presenting with acute emergencies (including palliative emergencies) through the effective use of clinical protocols and the IT system. He believes that in spite of the chaos of the Emergency Department, timely and well-documented care for patients can still be provided. He is always keen to collaborate with like-minded people to improve access to Emergency Care through effective coordination, protocols and real-world research.
