Dr Felicity Pool is a Senior Consultant at the National University Hospital, working in breast and body imaging.
Her medical and basic radiology training were in Auckland, New Zealand, followed by a fellowship year at the Chelsea and Westminster and Royal Marsden Hospitals in London, UK. She worked in a hospital and private practice in New Zealand and Australia prior to moving to Singapore in 2009.
Between 2008 and 2010 she carried out an Australian National Health and Medical Research Council National Institute of Clinical Studies Fellowship project implementing recommendations for breast imaging reports in private practice. She was the content specialist for the panel which developed the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists guidelines for the written radiology report issued in 2011.
She is the author, with Dr Stacy Goergen of a "Quality of the Written Radiology Report: A Review of the Literature", published in the Journal of the American College of Radiology in 2010.
