Biosketch

Dr Karen Lim graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2012 after obtaining a double degree in the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, and Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BSc). She was admitted to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG, United Kingdom) and the Master of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Singapore) in 2019. 

Dr Karen Lim completed her specialist training at National University Hospital and is an accredited specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice in Singapore. She has a special interest in the topic of genetics in Maternal Fetal medicine. To pursue her interest in the field of genetics, she obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong after completing her Masters in Clinical Genetics in 2022. Her research endeavours involve gestational diabetes, fetal medicine and prenatal genetic screening and diagnosis. 

She is also competent in both minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and robotic surgery and maintains a special passion for residency training and undergraduate education.
