Biosketch

Dr Lai Yew Min graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 and obtained her Master of Medicine in Psychiatry in 1996. She is presently a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at the National University Hospital and she has a concurrent appointment as an Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She also served as the Associate Program Director for the National Psychiatry Residency Program from July 2009 to June 2020. Her clinical interests are general adult psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine in relation to heart disease. She has a special interest in cognitive behaviour therapy of mood and anxiety disorders. She authored a chapter on psychocardiology in the textbook of psychiatry produced by the Department of Psychological Medicine, National University Hospital.
