Dr Lee Jie Ying graduated with MBBS from National University of Singapore in 2013. She obtained her Master of Medicine (Paediatrics), MRCPCH (UK) in 2016 and completed residency training in 2019, where she achieved Specialist Accreditation in Paediatric Medicine.
During her years in the Paediatric Residency Programme, Dr Lee was actively involved in resident matters. She served as the Chief Resident from 2017 to 2018, as well as Associate Chief Registrar from 2018 to 2019. In 2018, Dr Lee was also selected to attend the Singapore Chief Residency Programme.
Dr Lee’s clinical interests include acute and emergency paediatric care, child safety, mass casualty and disaster medicine, as well as general paediatrics. In addition, Dr Lee has a special interest in Patients Safety and Quality Improvement, and has been involved in many quality improvement projects. She is currently serving as the Department of Paediatrics Patient Safety Officer since January 2020.
