Prof Lee sees primarily non-diabetes endocrinology patients with pituitary, adrenal, bone or gonadal disorders. His research has been mainly in the scientific areas of thyrotrophin (TSH), thyrotoxic periodic paralysis (TPP), and the growth hormone (GH)/ insulin-like growth factor(IGF)/ and IGF-binding protein (IGFBP) axis. Prof Lee's present research interests include the relationship between the GH/IGF/IGFBP axis and cancer.
