Dr Ng Alexander obtained his MBBS at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2014 and Master of Medicine (Emergency Medicine) in 2019. He completed his specialty training in Emergency Medicine in 2021 and is currently a Consultant in NUH EMD.
His appointments include being Deputy in Charge of NUH EMD COVID-19 Facility and Tentage Operations, and he is a member of the Central Committee of the Centre for Healthcare Simulation (CHS), NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
His areas of interest and research includes disaster medicine, pandemic response and operations, clinical education, Residency development, medical technology and innovation as well as healthcare simulation.
Besides clinical practice, Dr Ng is actively involved in undergraduate education in the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and post-graduate teaching and mentoring of residents in the NUHS Emergency Medicine Residency Programme.
