Dr Lorraine Yong graduated from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2016 and completed her Emergency Medicine training at the National University Hospital. She obtained her postgraduate degrees Master of Medicine in Emergency Medicine, MMED (EM) as well as the Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM) in 2019 and was awarded the Alison Gourdie Medal.
Dr Yong is currently practicing as a Consultant at the Emergency Medicine Department, National University Hospital. She also serves at the Urgent Care Centre at Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Yong has a keen interest in medical education. She is a clinical tutor with the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and also a key member of the NUS Emergency Medicine residency training development programme. Dr Yong also has developing interest in information technology in healthcare.
