Dr Tan Ze Lei is a consultant of the Division of Children's Emergency (CE). Her area of clinical expertise is in emergency and urgent paediatric care, and paediatric primary care. Dr Tan manages patients both at the Children's Emergency and the Children's Urgent Care Clinic @ Bukit Panjang.
Dr Tan is part of the core faculty of the NUH Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) programme where she serves as a supervisor and educator to PGY1s in NUH. She assists as faculty for the Graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Health (GDCAH), providing continued professional development of medical professionals in the delivery of care to children and adolescents in the community. Dr Tan is an active facilitator in acute care simulation for undergraduate and postgraduate learners, and serves as a Paediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) instructor. She shares her paediatrics expertise as an Assistant Commander of the MOH Disaster Site Medical Command (DSMC), a committee which augments MOH's pre-hospital medical response system in mass casualty situations.
