Non-Specialist - Hospital Clinician
The Hospital Clinician (HC) scheme is a new career track recognised by MOH for non-specialists who wish to explore their interest in the Medical (Acute and Sub-Acute Care) or Peri-Operative (Surgical and Anaesthesia) domain. All medical officers who are under MOHH's employment can apply to join the HC Scheme at PGY4 where they will undergo 2 years of compulsory HC training before taking the diploma examination under the Graduate Diploma in Hospital Practice (GDHP), administered by the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (AMS).
Medical officers will be eligible to transfer their employment from MOHH to NUH from PGY5 onwards.
