Pharmacist Career Tracks
Pharmacists are responsible for the appropriate selection, dosage and administration of medication. They monitor medication therapy and offer guidance to patients and other healthcare professionals regarding potential drug interactions and side effects.
Pharmacy Assistants perform administrative duties, including answering phone calls, managing inventory, restocking shelves and processing payments. They assist with labelling prescriptions, packaging and organising medication orders.
Pharmacy Technicians perform tasks such as dispensing medication, compounding medication, managing inventory, entering prescription data and providing customer service.
