What is Natural Birth

Natural childbirth is the process of childbirth without the use of pain relief medication and routine medical interventions. It relies on relaxation and controlled breathing to provide a holistic and positive experience for mothers.

Are you suitable for Natural Childbirth?

All healthy women and expecting mothers with mild complications during pregnancy such as diabetes that can be controlled by diet are suitable for natural childbirth. Most importantly you need to be mentally prepared for the process of labour and have the support either from your partner during labour

Benefits of Natural Childbirth

Natural childbirth is a fulfilling and satisfying experience and enhances the subsequent mother-baby bonding. Avoiding the use of medications may also help your baby to be more alert following delivery.

The safety of mothers and their babies is of utmost importance during natural childbirth. Your doctor will share with you alternative birthing plans in the event that the initial plan does not go smoothly or under emergency circumstances. Some interventions may be medically induced to ensure you and your baby’s safety.
