NUH is conducting an egg allergy study in collaboration with Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) with the aim of helping individuals with egg allergies to safely consume eggs. This new trial combines Egg Oral Immunotherapy (OIT) with a probiotic, with the goal of providing lasting protection from egg allergies even after treatment has ended.
Recruitment has been completed and participants are now on follow-up. Data analysis is also underway.
