The Department of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery has made significant contribution to the research and development of hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery, especially in the fields of replantation, free tissue transfers, refinement in the techniques of muscle and tendon transfer, and in the field of hand prosthetics. By consistently advancing research tissue engineering and biomaterials, we hope to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of hand surgery.
The SParTA Score: A New Assessment System for Microsurgical Training
This annual workshop, held in May, brings together a stellar faculty from diverse backgrounds who share a common passion for research. This course is particularly suited for junior doctors, residents, nurses and new faculty members. Essentially, it caters to anyone with an interest and passion for clinical research.
