Our Experience

NUH is the first public health institution in Singapore to be accredited through the “Ensure Safer Systems” programme, a joint initiative developed by the Joint Commission International, Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare, and the Ministry of Health. Prioritising patient safety as a crucial aspect of healthcare, NUH Ophthalmology adheres to the international patient safety goals (IPSG), a set of international standards aimed at safeguarding patient well-being and improving the quality of care provided.

Additionally, we are committed to ongoing  improvement and the implementation of new initiatives to enhance patient experience through regular workflow reviews. 

Clinical Outcomes

​NUH Ophthalmology strives to achieve the highest quality standards for our patients. We consistently monitor and track clinical quality indicators across the various sub-specialties, benchmarking them against international standards.
