Common Investigative Procedures

2024/10/02

These are the common investigative procedures performed by our doctors to further assess the patient's condition:

Nasoendoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure involving the insertion of a fine, flexible scope into the nose to examine the nasal cavity, paranasal sinus openings and throat. A local anaesthetic spray may be used.

For more information, watch this video as it shares about what is a nasoendoscopy, when it is needed and addresses FAQs.

Ear clearance is a procedure to remove ear wax or debris from the ear canal. It is usually performed using microscopic visualisation and suction instruments.
Nasal clearance is performed to clean the nasal cavity and pharynx. This procedure involves the use of a rigid endoscope and suction instruments. Similar to Nasoendoscopy, a local anaesthetic spray may be used.
