Speech Therapy Services

2024/06/26

The ENT speech therapy team was first established in 2005 to provide communication support to hearing impaired patients. For individuals with hearing impairment, the journey does not end with the fitting of hearing devices but when they are able to empowered to communicate and thrive in their natural environment, such as the school, in employment or at home.

Since our humble beginnings, the team has expanded to provide a range of services for our patients in close partnership with their families, caregivers, developmental paediatricians as well as community partners (e.g. teachers).

Our services now include:

  • Assessment and intervention of communication functions (speech and language) in hearing impaired individuals
  • Group hearing wellness programme for elderly with hearing impairment
  • Therapy for individuals with Auditory Processing Disorder
  • Voice therapy for children and adults
  • Therapy for individuals with craniofacial anomalies resulting in communication difficulties
  • Management of dysphagia (swallowing difficulties) for patients with head and neck cancer
