PaedsENGAGE

What is PaedsENGAGE?

PaedsENGAGE, a collaborative initiative led by NUH and KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH), partners with general practitioners (GPs) in the private sector. This programme focuses on right-siting of care for children with mild to moderate paediatric conditions across Singapore.

For non-urgent conditions, it is advisable to consult a PaedsENGAGE GP first. This approach enables our Children's Emergency team to focus on patients with critical and life-threatening conditions.

GPs participating in PaedsENGAGE undergo a comprehensive educational training programme, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage common paediatric conditions, including:

  • Fever
  • Breathlessness
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Rash
  • Simple injuries

An e-brochure with more information is available for download  here.
